Sliding door motor

Sliding door motor PL500

Sliding doors are used for industrial, private and residential applications. We can find from large business plots with sliding doors opening, to small residential doors, smaller and lighter, but with the same mechanism.

The motors most commonly used to open sliding doors are identified by having a pinion as a traction method, which pulls through the rack that is incorporated in the door. In some cases they can be composed of more complex mechanisms, such as telescopic sliding doors, where guides and transmissions are required for proper operation. In this case, we also have our range of guides for telescopic sliding doors.

The PL500 motor has a rated thrust of 3500N which translates into a working capacity on sliding doors up to 500kg and up to 6 meters in length.

The main feature of this motor is its performance, as well as the adjustment of many parameters through a control board with led display. Being a 24V motor allows us to adjust the working speed up to 17 m/minute, a quality that identifies it as a “fast” motor within its category of motors for sliding doors. The PL500 motor is prepared to incorporate (optionally) batteries that would act in case of power failure, which would avoid having to unlock the motor through its unlocking lever to open/close the door. Other important parameters that the PL500 motor integrates both in terms of performance and safety are:

• Automatic closing adjustable from 5 to 180 seconds, as required.
• Adjustment of the speed as well as the activation distance of the soft stop.
• Pedestrian mode, so that the door does not have to be opened completely if only one person has to pass through.
• Adjustment of the anti-crushing system in opening and closing: sensitivity, delay, inversion and activation travel.
