FAQ’S

PRODUCT INFORMATION

PG120: Between terminals GND and PB.

PL500: Between terminals GND (11) and PB (10).

PC190: Between terminals GND (18) and DKey (19).

The photocell is powered, both the transmitter and the receiver, through the terminals GND and PHVcc of the panel.
In the receiver we will make a bridge between the terminals GND and COM and we will connect the normally closed or NC terminal to the PH1 terminal of the panel.

The electric lock is connected to the terminals Lat+ and Lat-.

To program the PL1000 panel it is necessary to press at the same time the Set and Down buttons for 3 seconds. In the display we will see the message “LEA” and then we must press once the button A of the transmitter control. After 1 to 3 seconds the display will show the message “ARN” and the learning process will start.

Closing photocell → between COM and IN1
Opening photocell → between COM and IN2
Closing strips → between COM and IN3
Opening strips → between COM and IN4

On the FULL PRO board, the photocell common is located just to the right of the photocell input terminals: IN1 – IN2 – COM.

Depending on the function of the pushbutton we will connect it between the common (COM) and the corresponding input:
– IN7 → Alternate pushbutton (normally open).
– IN8 → Stop pushbutton (normally closed).
– IN9 → Close pushbutton (normally open).
– IN10 → Pedestrian open pushbutton (normally open).

To be able to open two PL500 motors with the same transmitter we will have to program the same control in both motors. Then we will enter the programming of the motor 1 board to the FE parameter, which by default brings the 2 button programmed for pedestrian opening and we must assign a value other than 1 or 2, so that the B button of the transmitter does not interact with the motor 1. Then enter the programming of the motor 2 board and enter the parameter FC (opening function) and assign the value 2 and go to the parameter FE (pedestrian opening) and program a value other than 1 or 2 so that the pedestrian opening of motor 2 does not coincide with the buttons A and B of the transmitter, which are already being used for the opening of motors 1 and 2.

Transmitter: supply power between terminals GND and PH+. Receiver: supply power to terminals GND and PH+, make a jumper on the photocell between terminals GND and COM and finally connect the NC terminal of the photocell to terminals PH1 or PH2 of the panel.

The opening of a PL500 cannot be done from an intercom, it must be done from the control panel or with the pushbuttons connected to the panel for normal or pedestrian opening.

The ECO engine soft stop is set on the screw on the front cover of the cylinder. It must be adjusted in 10° turns and takes effect in the last 15mm of travel.

No, the MAGNET is a door designed for interior use.

Yes, radars can be connected.

We will connect a normally open pushbutton between the buttons 11 (COM) and 13 (ALT) and we will have to connect the jumper J6 on the board.

  • Hinged
    • Inward opening:
      • Lock on opening set on blue valve.
      • Adjustable locking on red valve.
    • Opening outward:
      • Lock in opening adjusted on red valve.
      • Locking in closing adjusted in blue valve.
  • Tilting
    • Chalet type (sweeps outward):
      • Lock on opening set on blue valve.
      • Adjustable locking on red valve.
    • Preleva type (sweeps inward):
      • Lock in opening adjusted on red valve.
      • Locking in closing adjusted in blue valve.
    • HLR: The soft stop adjustment is made by means of a screw located on the upper part of the front cover of the motor. It should be adjusted in 10° turns and affects both the opening and closing soft stop in its last 15mm of travel. If the screw is fully tightened, the soft stop travel (15mm) will be lost.

    • HB1: The adjustment of the soft stop is made by means of screws located in the central and lower part of the motor, which will modify the soft stop of the last 15° of travel in opening or closing. They should be adjusted in turns no greater than 45° and we have to take into account that if they are totally closed we will lose the last 15° of travel. Depending on the type of assembly and hardware used, the screws will make the adjustment in opening or closing.

Yes, the UNE-EN 12453:2018 standard regulates motorized doors, gates and barriers in industrial, commercial or residential facilities.

We have equipment with safety systems that limit the force of the motors or that detect possible crushing, limiting possible damage to objects or people, but in order to comply with the regulations and for the installation to operate reliably, it is necessary to complement the safety with some safety equipment such as photocells, passive bands, impact detection bands (resistive, optical, pressure…) or similar equipment.

The photocell power supply is connected to terminals +24v and COM. The safety contact is connected between terminals INF and COM. Then enter the parameter menu P2-14 and make sure that it is configured as NC contact.

Yes, our radars and presence detectors use voltage-free contacts so they are compatible with any automatic door.

Yes, our 433MHz MVSRT (insertable) and SRM (outdoor) receivers have a radio programming function, so that you can open the programming without physically accessing the receiver and act even on a panel that you have already installed.

Both the sliding motors of the PL series, the swing motors of the PW series and the PG series of roof motors share the same control system with WIFI module. All of them can be installed very easily:

  1. Plug the wifi module into your motor board and make sure it is powered.
  2. Install on your phone the MEDVA App (eyeopen by powertech) that you will find in the Play Store.
  3. Log in to your user account and if you don’t have one yet, create an account and then log in.
  4. If you are creating an account from scratch, you will receive an email from which you can activate your user account for the first time.

5. Once you are logged in, click on the (+) symbol to add a device. 6. Choose the type of device you are going to add (swing, sliding, roof motor…).

7. Enter the password of the wifi network to which the device will connect. If it has connected correctly, the blue LED will light up. 8. The detected devices will appear, you must select the unit you want to register.

9. Assign a PIN code that you will need to enter twice and that will be required in the future for some functions such as logging in to another device, adjusting settings or resetting to factory settings.

  1. Physically install the camera in the chosen location, with the antenna connected to the camera and secure the power supply by means of the included transformer.
  5. Once logged in you must click on the (+) symbol to add a device and select Biicam.

6. Decide whether you are going to connect the camera via cable or wifi network.

    • If you do it by cable, connect the network cable of a router to the camera and select Wired network in the App.
    • If you do it through wifi you must select the QR Code option and follow the next steps.

7. Make sure that the camera has power and press the RESET button for 5 seconds until the led indicator flashes or a beep sounds. 8. Select a 2.4 GHz wifi network and enter the wifi network password.

9. A QR code is generated on the phone screen, show it to the camera about 20 cm away so that it scans the code.

10. The App will indicate that it is connecting to the wifi network and then give the option to name the connected device. Once confirmed we will have the camera connected to our App.

  1. Check the LED indicators on the module and see if there is a problem. Most problems are caused by a too weak wifi signal.
    • Blue LED does not flash when pairing the wifi module: Press the P button on the Wifi module.
    • Led Blue and Green flash when pairing the module for the first time: The wifi network password has been entered incorrectly.
    • Red LED flashes when entering the pin: the pin entered is incorrect.
    • Red Led on: there is an error in the system and it must be reset to factory defaults by pressing the P button for 5 seconds and pressing the R button (the blue light should flash).
    • Green Led blinking: The system is not able to connect to the wifi network. Try to reconfigure and check the wifi network strength, as it may be too weak for proper operation.
